No, we are not in danger. We keep updated on the fires, but we are in no danger right now. Running Springs (where I grew up) has suffered tremendous losses as has Green Valley Lake. We are fine though in case you were concerned.

So Addie is getting cuter each day, and I think that these pictures prove it.

Well, on the whole we are doing well. Addie is continuing to grow stronger and more mobile each day. Just this past week, she started rolling over for the first time, from her stomach to her back. Needless to say, we were very proud of her. She keeps our hands full though, that's for sure. Laura and I continue to work at Forest Home, myself in the marketing department, and Laura in the Round House part time (that's the info center/ switchboard). It's been getting a little chillier but our house is warm and our wood burning stoves work quite efficiently.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we continue to eek along financially. We are making it each month, but it has been very interesting, especially with some recent, unexpected car and tire repairs. I'm sorry for our lack of pictures lately, but like I said, Addie keeps our hands full. So we haven't had much time to post any new pictures. Soon though, I promise.

A Family Portrait

Here we are before our friends, Josh and Heather, got married. The wedding was at Roaring Camp Railroads in Santa Cruz, CA. Beautiful location, right in the middle of the redwoods. If you ever have the chance to visit Santa Cruz, I would suggest this spot and the surrounding area as a must-see location.

On a family note, Adeline is getting so grown up. She'll be 4 months old at the end of this month and Laura and I are amazed at how much she changes each day. She is soooo close to rolling over. So close. But for now she just keeps talking up a storm and smiling. She is so gosh darn cute. She must get that from Laura.
